NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th July, 2019
S.O. 2651(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 396 of the Companies
Act, 2013 (18 of 2013), the Central Government hereby establishes the office of the Registrar of Companies at Guwahati
consequent to re-location of the said office from Shillong, having territorial jurisdiction in whole of the States of Assam,
Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh and appoints the Registrar of Companies at
Guwahati for the purpose of registration of companies and discharging the functions under the aforesaid Act in the said
States.
2. This notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
